Danielles work.

Distribution
While the film is still in the post. the producer is out selling it, but they cant sell directly to the public herself she needs a distributer. As the finishing touches are being made to the film in post the distributors plan their strategy and begin to market it. Distribution is an action made of sharing something out among a number of different people or audience.

Production
Post production usually starts during the shoot as soon as the first 'rushes' raw footage and sound are avaliable. A large film production can involve hundreds of people. and can be a strugle to keep on time on a budget, production is a action of making or manufactoring from components of raw meterial. production is used in the media when making the film producing all the scenes and shots to overall put the film together. As the process footage comes in the editer assembles it into the scenes and creates a narrative sequence for the film. every special effect is done at this point. they try to do it so none of the cast or crew memebers get hurt in this process and sometimes it can casue injurys. this is one of the last things they do in production. the production part is where all the actors do their job and take their roles up to the scenes.

Exhibition
Cinema exhibition is still the primary channel for films to reach their audiences and box office success. exhibition is a display of work of art, items or intrests. exhibition within film and media is when the film or trailer or poster is exhibit beforefilms comes out to promote the film and gets straights to the audience. this creates an idea of what is to come next with the film. and exhibition is almost like a display of work in a museum but instead on huge billboards or on a tv advert. Distributors supply the exhibitors with prints of the film. the more places the screen is showed on the more prints are needed.

Gabi Questionnaire

What is your favourite film?

A: Snatch

B:Scarface

C: White house down

D: Django un-chained

E: Shutter Island

This shows that most popular genres were Crime/Action, however Django un-chained is a Western based film. This highlights a different taste in genre when asking the chosen group. I also found the information interesting as Leonardo Dicaprio starred in two of the movies mentioned. This suggests that he is stereotyped and commonly recognised as an Action/Crime Actor.

How often do you visit the Cinema?

A: Once a month

B: Once every two months

C: Once a month

D: Twice a month

E: Once a month

This highlights that from this the teenagers asked mostly visited once a month. This suggests that cinema visits have been replaced with T.V and access to movies online. This is significant as it illuminates that when a group of movies hit the cinema that only one is being watched.

What is your favourite genre?

A: Action/Comedy

B: Gangster

C: Action

D: Horror

E: Comedy

The most popular is the Action/Comedy genres as this can be universal to both sexes. Cinema mostly shows these genres, possibly making it the most popular in the survey.

How much time do you spending watching films a week?

A: 2hrs a week

B: 2hrs a week

C: 3hrs a week

D: 5hrs a week

E: 4hrs a week

This averages to 3.2 hours of film watching a week. This is around the average length of a film and therefore would suggest that one film is being watched by this group of teenagers a week.

What are your thoughts on piracy?

A: I do it all the time.

B: I really have an opinion on it.

C: I don't really care.

D: I use it every day.

E: I don't like it, it is illegal and therefore I don't do it.

This is significant as it outlines that the current generation mostly use piracy to access programmes and movies online. Piracy is the costless option in some cases. A average cinema ticket for a student is £7.50 and therefore many will watch pirate films because it is cheap. However, this isn't good for the industry. If no money is being put into the industry, less and less money there is to put into films and actors. But saying this, piracy is far more accepted in our generation.

Premier Of Skyfall

This is a video of the world premier of skyfall. It is effective because everything around the red carpet is related to the film itself. For example the cars and the outfits being worn.

Skyfall interviews

Skyfall Soundtrack

This is the offical soundtrack for Skyfall. It previews scenes from the film and adds further promotion of the film and the actors adding to the climax created surrounding the film. This was played on the radio, reaching number 1 in 16 different countries. This shows how it reached a wide audience and produced further promotion.

Posters and billboards

\
These are some of the official posters and billboards that were used for the advertising of skyfall. I feel these worked so well because each of them is different and potrays a different aspect to the film without giving to much away. For example the final one of the tube suggests a scene will be shown where an incident occurs involving a London tube.

Social Networking

this is the officail twitter page for James Bond. its verified with the blue tick. this twitter page is a way for the audience to connect to the film and find out about it. it gives quotes from the movies for the fans of the film.

Synergy

in the advert of coca-cola and skyfall they use synergy to sell both the up coming film and the coke zero. In this advert they use music and scenes from skyfall. by using synergy they sell both things with in one advert.

This video shows us that there is a tie in between Sony and the Skyfall movie. It shows how powerful and quickly the sony products are able to work, even if an individual or the technology is under pressure which is the exact representation of Bond.

This is a tie in of the brand Coca Cola and the movie Skyfall.

This is a tie in linked with Coca Cola. The customers had to do certain tasks as if they were Bond and at the end if they sang the theme tune correctly they were able to win tickets to the premier.

This is an avatar swede. I find this swede very interesting as it is a true representation of the key moments within the film but obviously with a comical aspect. I think that they have used aspects from the film such as the hand gestures, the music and the magical tree. This then gives us the impressions that they have taken into consideration what made the avatar film special and how to reenact these in the swede. I also like this swede as it gives us as ideas for what to include in our swede.

Avatar Swede

I chose this swede because its very funny and creative, its funny because it uses very fake scenes which makes it look like they're taking the mick. Their acting is really bad which makes it whole lot worse. i think the good thing about this swede is that you still understand what they are showing and what scenes they're are doing. The costumes are also funny as both the men are wearing wigs which makes it look so fake. the camera movement is not good atall which also makes it look like a swede as it is very fake. I think they have been really creative and thought out the scenes well to make it as funny as possible. The use of a cat in the swede makes it so funny and exciting to watch.

Harry Potter Swede

This swede is incredibly funny. I chose to comment on this swede as it was comical and uses the element of costume to tell the story. Also the use of current music at the end added further humour. The characterisation was also funny as it doesn't parallel the acting in the movie. The use of costume is good as it is similar to the movie. The music also does this, most of it being from the original soundtrack.
However, the use of comedy in this piece was what stood out to me, sometimes the amateur props such as a towel, the drawing of a window on the white board and masks were most comical. From this swede I would take comical aspects and apply this to my own. The amateur filming and props make it a good swede and parady of Harry Potter.
